It shouldn’t come as any surprise that people consider music to be a possession, something they treasure and OWN. When music companies interfere with that right of ownership, they motivate people to seek the removal of that interference. It’s time that the record companies understood the music and the effect it has on people. They should be trying to encourage the memories and the warm feelings we get from listening to music that is important to us … not … making it hard for us to share in it. Its time to drop the legal crap and embrace the new music business model
