If you don’t have a touchscreen, you can use your mouse pointer like it’s your finger. Just hold the left button and drag. The mouse wheel also works to scroll left and right to expose the metro tiles that don’t fit on the screen. Either way works pretty well.
The metro interface is horrible.
Every time you want to start a new program (that isn’t pinned/running) to your taskbar, the whole screen flashes and you get taken to the metro interface.
I still haven’t worked out how to quickly get to the control panel.
I’m currently right click the desktop, personalizing & then using the address bar to flick back to main control panel.
It’s quicker than going through the horrible metro interface.
The Metro interface is to PC users what the QWERTY keyboard layout was (is) to typists.
