Strange problems with 812S and US0N & CG5J

I have been having very strange problems with a 812S using US0N and CG5J and I can’t seem to get any help here.

Looks like I have to break one of the forum rules just to get attention.

I did one more burn on the Verbatim +R 8x MCC003 and the result is no good.
Seems the drive has a problem at the 34/35% spot where the LED goes yellow for about 1 second. Is this a ‘relinking’ problem and does it mean the drive is worn out?

I decided to do a burn on Maxell +R 8x but the burn failed. Here is the log:

How many weeks do I have to wait to get some help aroung here?

Create a data disc with Nero CD-DVD Speed and scan afterwards. Jumps in PIE are usually caused by some kind of “recalibration”, like a speed change, or by stamper faults/bad batches of discs.

The quality of this media is currently under contention. Many members believe it is crap media (I am one).

The firmware support of the Liteon812/832 drives are no longer as good as it used to be, solely because it is an old drive and the manufacturer no longer see profit in further firmware development.

Stick with high quality (low speed) TY media, or MCC media and you should be okay.<lite-on dvdrw="" sohw-812s=""><atapi><asus cd-s520/a=""><atapi>
