hi guys, i was wondering if anyone else has come across this problem, or if you have any ideas what’s gone wrong and how i can fix it. any help would be greatly appreciated as always

while trying to encode an avi file with DVD2SVCD ready to make a dvd… i got the following message then encoding stopped: frame size 980x56 is not supported. supported frame size is up to 720x576

i tried it again, and got the same message

frame size on the file i am converting is 576x320!!

any ideas??

thanks again

after much thought, i still couldn’t figure out what’s wrong, so i decided to uninstall then reinstall both DVD2SVCD and Cinema Craft Encoder (because the problem starts when that is running) and see if that makes any difference… but no. still exa\ctly the same thing happens. i get the error message about the frame size in CCE then DVD2SVCD freezes.

after closing CCE, the last part of the log said:
--------------------------------------------------------

 • 05/07/2003 21:41:51
 • Free on drive C: 18575.58 mb
 • Video Encoding using Cinema Craft

Executing Cinema Craft Encoder.
Cannot load CCE project file. Retry #1
Cannot load CCE project file. Retry #2
Cannot load CCE project file. Retry #3
Cannot load CCE project file. Retry #4
Error cannot load CCE project file. Giving up

does that shed any more light on the matter?

thanks again

AVISynth errors are always ???x56.

Try playing the AVS to see what the actual error is because rather than seeing the error CCE just sees it as a ???x56 RGB source.
