Staples: Pacific Digital 16x dvdrw with 8x rewrite

vbimport

#1

what 16x dvdrw is able to do 8x rewrite speeds???

is this a BenQ?? or Nec or Liteon …anyone know

I have heard that recently the PD drives maybe BenQ…any ideas?

#2

Most probably it is based on an NEC ND-3520A drive.

#3

thats too bad…I would have preferred another BenQ…I may pass

#4

The staples I went to this all seem to be BenQ…had various serial numbers…some 143xxx, 410xxx…but all had a larger sticker on back given BenQ 16x dvdrw spec and part #xxx-BQ3-xxxx

the drive was oem with G7C9…and get this PD includes a BenQ cd with tools that work with retail not oem drive

they also include what looks like a 40 pin cable …not 80

#5

And it says 8x rw with G7C9?

#6

sorry I should have been more clear…the ad in paper says 8x rewrite…the box has a large label on back with BenQ spec…16x write, 4x rewrite. which covers box package specs which do specify 8x rewrite…

this does not have 8x rewrite it is benq eom 1620

everyone was a benq…different serial numbers…$109.99-$20 IR-$30easy rebate -$15 off $75=$50

#7

Hell of a deal. I saw the ad in the paper here. Just wondered if they claimed it 8x rw on the box lol

#8

well the box is screwed up front says 48x cdr speed…but like I said the back has a big label cvering the “wrong” specs

coupon is on staples website…
