Thanks for answers
However, using an SSD only for burning multiple DVDs at the same time is waste of a good SSD, and anyone wanting to use an SSD just for this purpose should be banned from ever owning an SSD. :p
Actually there is a good reason why I’m asking this
You already know that my problem is to have as much sata ports as possible.
I’m trying to save some money getting a cheaper mainboard, but this also means a lower number of sata ports. Because of I have to install at least 6 burners, this leave me very few possibilities. All cheaper boards have only 6 sata ports, and very few ones have 8 sata ports.
With 8 sata ports, I can install 6 burners and in the remaining 2 ports I can install a SSD and a HDD.
If it was possible to install 2 or 3 HDDs, then I would never think to use a SSD for burns I would simply put each ISO file on a separate HDD, and then I’ll burn them at the same time.
The only board with so many sata ports I was able to find at the moment is the Asrock Fatal1ty, that is not cheap at all
The Fatal1ty has also another advantage: the IDE port, so I can install 2 burners on IDE. It is a nice possibility, so I can resume the plextor 760
But again, it is not a cheap board.
I also explored the possibility to get a cheaper board plus a sata controller for HDDs, but controllers are not cheap, and actually buying a controller I’ll spend more than the fatal1ty
The more solutions I try to explore, the lesser money I can find in my wallet
