Squared lower borders on windows

A while ago I somehow changed the setting on my computer to where the lower borders of folders that are open etc., just any windows, are squared off rather than rounded. It only happens when the computer’s in Vista Basic mode, which it automatically switches to when I open certain programs. It causes no functional problem it just looks awkward. I forget how I ended up changing it to this so I can’t reverse it, I was trying to do something else at the time. Since then I’ve looked for the setting again to change it back several times without success. I’m not sure if this question is appropriate for this forum but since I’m already a member here I figured I’d try here rather than register somewhere else. I’ve attached a screenshot of what it looks like.
