Actually, as far as redundancy goes, MegaUpload probably had redundancy, in multiple widely separated locations. Most good online data storage services do. I don't think that's the problem here. The problem is the service was shut down, and no one can access their data. That said, this is exactly why I'm completely against corporate America trusting their data storage to third party companies running these "cloud" services. You just never know when/if the selected service will go out of business and shut down their servers.
