Splitting Tracks

Heres the thing : Every time I try to split a long wav file from within nero, the thing only works til I I reopen the program after having saved it. Am I blindly missing something in the save as settings or what -? When I restart Nero , and try to open a compilation saved but closed previously, out of a split & indexed audio mix it adds the time of each individual part to the time of each track before it- thereby suggesting cds with 5000Mb or dunno, say, 10 hrs of audio on them - needless to say - NO!!!

Esp irritating when you’re working on stuff you may only have on disk ( rather than hdd) very briefly…

aNYONE GOT AN IDEA WHAT THE "£$%^)!? i AM DOING WRONG?

No need to post 2 threads about this

If I undertand correctly, the compilation is messed up after splitting, saving it and opened again in Nero.

If that’s the case, then you’re not alone.
It’s another bug in Nero.
I could test it when a similar thread was opened by soundmate here:

solution?
using good software instead of buggy Nero.

Feurio is much better than Nero for that splitting task and making compilations, and it’s not full of bugs.
