Is there a way to compress or devide the movie AVI file to make it fit CD size?

To start with :I prefer TMPGenc and it’s free… well the last time I checked.
It does AVI, MPEG, etc. Check it out.
I had some a few 100mb mpeg and it divided them where I wanted it.
