i do have an mp3 file that i want to split in parts. how can i do it?
Ok get Audacity Once you gotten that get Lame.EXE
Once you have done that open Audacity, then split the parts by deleting the other parts you dont want. Save the part you want to .mp3. It will ask you to find the Lame.EXE find it. Then save it. Once you done that go back and find the other parts you want. Save them. Now you have split your MP3 file into different parts. If you need any help with that private message me.
there’s a free app, mp3directcut from http://www.mpesch3.de , just for this purpose. i like that it’s standalone, no install.
I can vouch for mp3directcut as it doesn’t re-encode the file, so you don’t lose any quality.
alternatively, you can open the mp3 file in adobe audition or other similar sound editor, select and delete the portions you don’t want and save the rest as a new file.
i will give this a try, tankx
