SP2 and DVDXcopy?

I have been on the original install of XP since it came out, but it’s getting
s l o w and I need to do a wipe and reinstall. I have had no problems with DVDXcopy gold with SP1, and am wondering if SP2 messes it up. I’m wondering if anyone else has had no problems, and those that do.

Thanks for any info.

dvdxcopy works just fine on sp2.
im having all kinds of problems trying to even burn movies on dvdxcopy
itsnot because of sp2 i dont no what the f*** is going on just cant burn anymore

if you are having problems you need to go into my computer >advanced>peformance>settings>data execution prevention
there you can add the exe file for dvdxcopy so you can run it

i found this suggested at this forum - http://www.labdv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?topic=3849&forum=16&1

  • Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click System
  • Click the Advanced tab. Then, under Performance, click Settings
  • Click the Data Execution Prevention tab
  • Click Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only
  • Confirm the change with ‘Apply’ or ‘OK’
