hi
who i can restore the microsoft conlose (devmgmt.msc, etc)
i have problem with all the *.msc files

the microsoft management console? If it’s that i’m sure you just need to run a microsoft installer package(any) and that will install it for you as the installer needs the mmc to run so it automatically installs one.

i get this message "MMC cannot open …msc. This may be because the file does not exist, is not an MMC console, or was created with a later version of MMC. This may also be because you do not have sufficient access rights to the file.

I had that message before, but it asked me if i wanted to update the console to match and just clicked ok and it was right. Type mmc into the run dialog box and see if the console pops up.

now it’s ok.i had unistall a program for a tv tuner and i had this problem .i reinstall it .thanks very much.

No probs :wink: If it stuffs up again just run a .msi package installer, you can click cancel as soon as it pops up as it dumps the files for the mmc on your drive during the initiation.
