…Too bad the price of the discs is rather high, not to mention the price of the recording hardware…
Keep in mind that first-gen (ie. first run) items (any industry) are usually expensive as there are limited production facilities. As more companies become aware/involved/included the price of the hardware and software will drop substantially (hopefully, usually).
