I wish I had know about this Forum before I made my recent purchase 
I bought a SONY RDR-VX530 Video Cassette Recorder/DVD Recorder
I tried to record from my satellite a program on A&E and it would not record it on DVD, the same thing happened when I tried to records something on the
history channel.
Someone has told me that potentially I could disable it in the bios but not sure how.
Other say get something called

and that would be easier.
What should I do, has anyone heard or used Grex???
Please help this newbie out…
