Tigerdirect.com has the Sony DRU-120C 16x DVD+RW DVD Writer/Burner (BLACK) for $9.99 after a $30.00 rebate.
Did a search here at CDfreaks and did not find anything on this model. Looks like there have been problems with earlier models though. But for $10.00 I could not resist and placed an order for one.

Just cancelled my order. Did a little more research and found that COMPUSA has the same item on sale and in stock locally (out of stock on-line). Thier Thanksgiving sale price is $69.99 minus an instant $45.00 off (11/24 and 11/25 only) for a cost of $24.99 out the door. Plus there is a $20.00 mail in rebate for final cost of $4.99.
I’ll be heading to COMPUSA after I get off work in about an hour.
