Sony blocks PS3 USB exploits PSJailbreak, PSGroove with firmware update.

Everyone who bought into the hype and bought a PS3 console for a premium of $600 all the way down to it’s slide to under $300 knew that the so-called free online network access comes at a price… soidifying the game companies’ grip on the DRM. Everyone knew that a network neutral online gaming alternative would have to be developed by the hacking community to keep the DRM mitts off the hacked consoles.

If things had developed we’d have the server housed in the Swedish parliament by now…
