SONY AW-G170A will not burn to dual lyer disc with following media code even when updated to 1.75 fw

Hi and welcome to cdfreaks. :slight_smile:

The DL media you’r using [UMEDISC.DL1] is not supported by your drive/ FW.

You better spend your $$'s buying Verbatim branded media. In the short time frame, more expensive per disc compared to current media but cheaper in the long run. :wink:

I injected the media code into the latest fw and updated my dvd drive and now it works.

Did you verify that the disc was readable after burning?
