I can tell you exactly what will happen to the employees: since we’re talking about Sony, odds are they don’t care about their employees anymore than they care about their customers. In other words, these people will be fired in no time. Why? Because this makes it easier for Sony to engage in patent trolling, that’s why.

The moral of the story: when you’re as big as Sony, things like corporate image don’t mean anything. You can be the biggest jerks in the world without going out of business.
