Sonic - No drive detected

I recently bought this HP PC running XP Media edition, including Sonic DigitalMedia plus. When I go to copy > disk copy, it says “No drive detected”. I have two CD drives, including “ASUS DVD-E616PH3H” on F: and HP-DVD Writer 640c. These dirves have been working ok, and I did get the RW drive to copy files onto a blank CD using the explorer optioins. But that created a folder at the top, and I want to make a copy of a CD, and Sonic is what I have. Any ideas on how to get it to recognize the drives?

There was an earlier post about removing the upper and lower filters from registry entry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}, I removed an entry called UpperFilters, and rebooted, but that didn’t help.

Microsoft says I am up-to-date on patches. I have 5.2.2600 (SP 2 build 2600).

Thanks,
Ben
