Something faster than nero to code avi to vcd dat?

I am trying to convert 4 avi files to vcd dat files and store them in a dvd. I tried doing this in nero by burning the avi as vcd files,since they are encoded in the process. I want to know if there is a faster way to do this and how? :wink:

you could use mainconcept for the encoding part. IMO probably the fastest encoder and excellent results.
