Possibly the media is not supported by the 832s firmware. Time to get a newer drive.
Possibly the media is not supported by the 832s firmware. Time to get a newer drive.
is it possible for me to update the firmware for the drive?

#4

The drive is really ancient. I seriously doubt any new firmware for it.
Try codekings site and see what is available for it.
New drives a really cheap 24x at Walmart for $39.00.
