can u guys give me any idea as to when Liteon will release their next firmware upgrade of SOHR-5239V?

maybe never, as the market for CD writers is drying up. Also, the Liteon/Sony collaboration (who made that drive) has ended, so the probability for newer firmwares isn’t really high.
