http://divxrepair.sourceforge.net/

http://divfix.maxeline.com/divfix.html

Both free software…

divfix doesn’t seem to work in repairing d files. it does state d no. of errors but when i play d repaired file, it seems even worse than d original one. as for divxrepair, it doesn’t repair d file. after i click ‘repair file’, d report comes out empty. no fixing, n nothing written in d report. any other softwares? i dun necessarily have to fix d file, just wanna check for errors…

GSpot is able to detect some errors in .avi files.
It does not repair, it’s merely a codec appliance.

D problem iz dat u use d letter “d” in stedd of riting out d whole werd.

Dis makes it hardd for uz 2 unnerstan u.

On a more serious note, there are any number of programs that do this… and a viewer or two that will view the files regardless of such errors.

Try viewing with VideoLAN, or if the file is REALLY problematic with AVIPreview+.
