Software recommendation for file converter?

Edit: and, I just found a site with great comparative reviews. Still trying to figure out which ones support menus, though, which is my problem with the program (DMC) I am using now… :frowning:

Can you provide more information? What kind of conversions do you want to do exactly? Are you talking about video files? Pictures maybe?

Video files. Mostly AVI to MPEG2 but I like having the flexibility to do other conversions. My issue is finding software that can support menus.

i like TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress.

just try it, you can get the trial version to test.

I’ve used Replay Converter, it has a simple interface and works well.

Thank you both, I’ll try them. :iagree:

What needs to be done to convert Windows Media Audio/Video files into MPEG2 files so that I can put them on a DVD and play them on an ordinary DVD player to be watched on a TV.

I use Windows XP

Try DVDFlick or AVStoDVD. They can convert most video formats to dvd-video.

Both can be set up to burn automatically to a disk with a free burning program called ImgBurn.

Thank you I will give them a try.

I use SUPER (all capital letters - free download).
It’ll convert anything to anything.

SUPER or FORMAT FACTORY
