Software (Freeware) to Burn MP3 /WMA to .CDA

Hello, I hope this is in the right category. If not, I ask that one of the moderators please move it. Anyways, I was wandering if anyone knows a a software to burn my MP3 and WMA to CDA format. I prefer freeware. I thank you for your responses,

Whappo;I have used Burnaware to burn .mp3s as a data disc on CD -R.Those will play on car CD players that play .mp3s from a recordable disc. These will also play on my DVD settops which I have a stereo rec/amp connected to so good for home use too.
My older home disc player doesn’t recognize the .mp3s & won’t play the disc.
I haven’t tried a WMA this way but doubt it would work.
So if I load .mp3 or .wma files into Burnaware & burn as an audio CD the result will be .cda files on the CD -R disc?

This my goal to try and get .wma and .mp3. The .wma is more of an experiment. I will look into burnaware. Thanks guys!

My apologies, I have so many apps to test I get confused sometimes. Anyway, CDBurneXP handles mp3 and wma for audio CD’s, BurnAware will do mp3’s wav and ogg to audio CD but I don’t think it does wma. I don’t have any wma files to test with at the moment, if you have some you can try them with Burnaware using the audio disk option and see what happens.

ImgBurn can burn Audio CD’s from any file type supported via DirectShow / ACM - including AAC, APE, FLAC, M4A, MP3, MP4, MPC, OGG, PCM, WAV, WMA and WV.

troy512;Thanks for the reminder .
Here’s the Guide from ImgBurn:

I tested Burnaware with the one .wma I found on my computer.I hope it wasn’t something I just changed the file extension on.I burned to a standard .cda.

Thanks Guys!

I also thank you troy512, I didn’t know Imgburn could handle those file types. Great!
