couldn’t find any verbatim dvd+r, only dvd+RW discs, i got no choice so i bought it, selected “NO Multisession” on nero, and then i burnt my photos and data to it at 4x.

so, did nero finalized my disc? like a permanent dvd+r?

i don’t want to re-use the disc so i don’t care about multisession and rw formatting…etc, i’m happy with using +RW as dvd+R, the shop doesnt have any verbatims dvd+Rs left, only TDK and maxells.

thanks for helping.

I don’t use Ner0, but my guess is yes, since you chose “NO Multisession”…
I burn Verbie +RW’s, but I only use Imgburn and I burn them @ 12x or 16x…
Not sure about your HW specs but 4x seems too slow in my book(IMO)…

DVD+RW is different from the other DVD formats since it is always in a finalized state (doesn’t need finalizing). Depending on how you burned the DVD+RW it may still be possible to add files to it even though it has been finalized. Being “RW” it can also be erased.

Don’t ask me to interpret Nero logfiles, however, since I find that to be a cruel and unusual punishment.
