.com domains are worldwide --> mondial.
U.S. jurisdiction is federal --> regional.
How the hell could it be possible for a region to force their own viewpoint to most other countries and getting away with it???:Z

Verisign manages the top level .com domain, as well as .net. Verisign is an American company, and thus susceptible to US government pressure.

I mentioned over at the MakeMKV forum that they should have an alternative site prepared in case their .com site is taken.

They replied with this address: http://makemkv.com.cn/
This is a Chinese domain, which surprised me a bit, seeing that MakeMKV is based in Russia.

THAT shouldn’t be allowed,as this creates a monopoly which affects a lot of sovereign countries’ web access handling.
We have NATO,G8,the International Monetary Fund and several others to handle international cases…yet the international web domains are regulated by a US-only company…:Z
