I just posted the article Slim Sony Vaio X costs $1,300.

By any other standard, Sony’s light and lean Vaio X notebook is costly, but it’s relatively inexpensive as far as Sony computers go.

“but it’s relatively inexpensive as far as Sony computers go.”

Wait till it fails inexplicably under light use, BSODs or if it has a KNOWN GPU issue, then you’ll experience the true cost of owning a Sony VAIO brick.

Sony VAIO is designed to fail and a complete rip-off. They should be avoided for their lousy and incompetent customer service, especially in Europe.

Save your hard earned money, and go with another manufacturer that actually tries to back up their products. It’s scandalous how Sony had handled the GPU problem in previous VAIOS, pfft never again.

Which model of Sony VAIO do/did you have? A friend of mine is considering purchasing a Sony VAIO second hand, so then I can advise him which model NOT TO buy
