Sky makes 'anti-piracy' change to HD box

Component video outputs have been dropped from the newest version of Sky’s high definition boxes in an apparent anti-piracy move.

From the outset, Sky said they would remove the component sockets from the box to reduce manufacturing costs. They only fitted them so people could use the box who didn’t have an HD Ready TV. When the box first came out there were a lot of flat panel TV’s that didn’t carry the HD Ready logo or have HDMI sockets.

Oh crap!!

Mr. Murdoch is truly a monster.

Now that he has grabbed majority of Premiere holdings he will set it up with NDS too. :Z
