Six new DivX Certified Blu-ray players

Last week we reported that Panasonic announced two new DivX Certified Blu-ray players, DMP-BD30EG and DMP-BD30EE. Now DivX, Inc. announced in a press release that they have granted DivX Certificates to six new stand-alone Blu-ray players.

:cool::cool:

How much is it going to cost us though? EDIT NM, looks like Phillips will run $349. Not bad if you can get it for less. I might pick one up if they rate well.

They aren’t certified for hi-def are they? Seems most Divx playback on standalones is limited to standard def 720x480. :frowning:

Ah garbage, just noticed that they are required to be DRM certified. So how on earth do they verify this?
