Hi we have the new Sims 2 on our computer and after a week of playing it has become extremely slow to load , like there is too much information transacting .It is so slow that the kids refuse to play it. All other games and funtions work fine . We are running windows XP , sp2,athlon 1400
Any suggestions or help on this matter…Many thanks 
Well, now much RAM is in the system? How full is the hard drive? And have you tried defragging?
Also what video card do you have?
128 of memory, yes I did defrag , and the hard drive has tons of space. the video card is nvidia with 64 of memory

does it load generally slow or does it only appear while playing? 'coz sims 2 becomes slower and slower if your family (in the game, of course 
) becomes bigger and your house gets bigger…

yes the bigger the house the slower it is . my kids don’t want to play it after 2 weeks
