Shrink DVD is it really free? And is it what I want?

Hello all … just registered because I am hoping a newbie site will take pity on me and explain things in simple terms. For example, I know what a DVD is. And that’s about it.

Seriously, what I want to do involves moving sections (chapters?) from one DVD to another. I have recorded nearly every episode of my favorite TV program, but they are all out of order. I want to re-record them onto new DVDs but in the order they were broadcast.

From doing some internet searching, it appears that ShrinkDVD is the program that can accomplished this. I followed a link provided here (thanks) to http://www.dvdshrink.org/.

However …

No matter where I try to click to download the free software, I end up with a page that informs me: Lifetime Full & Unlimited Access for $37.95 - Now Only $28.95 (best offer!), 2 Years Full & Unlimited Access for only $1.60/Month (save over 50%), or 1 Year Full & Unlimited Access for only $2.23/Month.

So where exactly is the free download (without any kind of “Access” to whatever if is they are selling)?

Thanks in advance for shedding any light on this problem.

Wow, you guys are fast! I was feeling pretty lost (and disgusted) but these responses just made my day. Thanks for the warm welcome.

Thank you Jethro and Don for suggesting AfterDawn. I am there now downloading the program. Whoa! It’s already done, Now I guess I need to find something to unpack it. “7-zip”? I’m on it.

Jethro, I used to be a typing teacher! And I have no idea what cracks and keygens are. Cocktails?

Merci!

Shrink is still a very viable program, it just lacks in the area of new decryptions. It can be downloaded right here at CDF Software on our front page.

If you scroll down the forums to the software section you will see a sub section called “Guides and Tutorials”. There is a lot of good information about DVD Shrink to be found there.
