Should I flash my Pioneer 110d to a 110?

Hi folks, I have a few newbie questions. I just bought a Pioneer 110D and have read a lot about people wanting to flash the 110D to a 110. If I am not interested in DVD-RAM is there any point in converting the 110D to a 110?

Does the 110 have any other advantages over the 110D such as application compatibility or read/write performance?

Also, if I update the firmware on my 110D to the official Pioneer 110D 1.37, can I in the future convert the drive to 110?

Thanks so much for your help.

You’ll probably have better luck receiving advice in the Pioneer forum.
