Shortest blu-ray reader?

I am building a new PC and using a micro-atx case and motherboard. The Antec NSK3480 is known for having tight quarters in front of the PSU, so it is recommended you get a “short” optical drive- so there is space for the cables.

Of all the Blu-ray/DVD±RW drives out there, which would be the shortest depth? I only need BR reading, not writing.

Thanks.

Lite-On IHES106 about 6.7"
Pioneer BDR-203 is about 7"
LG and Sony are about .5" longer.

Maybe there are other shorter drives out there…

For reading blu-ray… and burning DVD-R, is there a better choice between the Lite-On and Pioneer?

Thanks for this info.

For reading blu-ray, I would choose the Pioneer since it’s 8x (faster).
