I’m in the UK - hence region 2
My SH-203B came with SB00 firmware. Newer firmware SB01 is available from http://samsung-odd.com/ but I’ve seen a few postings here that say it locks the drive to region one and reduces the region changes left to zero.
Ideally I’d like the drive left at region 2 with 4 changes remaining.
Could anyone clarify the situation ?

I suspect, a bad flash, maybe due to controller issues, might have caused the issues you mentioned.

P.S.: You know, RPC1 firmware (inofficial of course) is available?
