Sex and Lucia failure with DVD2OneX

For some reason DVD2OneX unexpectedly quits when selecting the VIDEO_TS file generated after using DVDBackup 1.3 on the DVD, “Sex and Lucia”. It is a foreign disk, in Spanish, but I can’t imagine why that would be an issue.

Anyone have any theories on what is going on, or things I could do to troubleshoot?

The same thing happens for me using the PC version of DVD2ONE versions 1.1.1, 1.1.2 and 1.1.3. The first version 1.0.0 works fine and I was able to back up this movie with subtitles. I used the contact form on the DVD2ONE website and have received no reply. My theory is that a bug was introduced in version 1.1.1 that has been carried forward. The PC version seems to die just before it opens up the window that lets you select which audio streams to encode. I assumed that this was a Windows API fault but since it happens on the Mac I would guess that they have a pointer going off into never-never land.

Hmmm. Well, I hope they patch it soon. I will file a bug report.

Note that version 1.1.0 does not correct this error.
