[qanda]This thread is about the Pioneer DVR-107 / DVR-A07. Click here to see full specs[/qanda]this is my first post on this site , so thanks anyone for seeing this and helping me out.
problem is : my Pioneer 107bxl and 112bxl dvd writer are working perfectly eversince i bought them. but after i update their damn firmwares to the latest ones found on Pioneer official site, they can't write anything right!! nero and dvd decrypter all failed, cost me about 20 new discs now!!
"the semaphore timeout period has expired" is what the software displays
like crazy! and device buffer is jumping from 6% to 95% back and forth! that's when i using a SONY 4X dvd-rw disc, and the 16X dvd-r i normally use
can't even be initiated, it just says dvd writer faliure!! i tried flash the writers back to old firmwares using DVRflash.exe, but it changes nothing, seems the writers are SICK once and for all !
if it helps : i'm using XP sp3 system on a laptop, my writers are connected through a IDE usb adaptor box (don't know how to call it).and it all worked perfectly before!
i have also tried to flash the writers on my another desktop PC, but it's the same result ! anyone can help me with this problem is a saint ! help !
