the latest posts on the forum are followed by me but to no avail

i faced a problem in that

i got the image of the cd from alcohol 120%
and i can mount it and it runs too

but when the software is just about to start the test
given in the software, the software hangs

in other way followed, i get a message that please see if the correct disc is inserted in the drive

also for your information
my pc is
amd athlon 3 ghz
512mb ram
80gb sata hdd
lg dvd writer

also i did the read at maximum speed and dpm at 12x in alcohol

is this due to speed

should i reduce the speed in both the cases

Welcome dharmit,

could be a bad image try to recreate the image using slower speed for reading and the dpm this guide should help you.

thanks buddy

will try your suggestion :flower:

well i created the image again with lowest availabe reading spedd and lowest available dpm speed but to no avail

again the same problem

i can run the software and now the test also starts which previously could not but after answering one question the software hangs…

i have to quit immediately
