Now we are talking business. I love it, OCZ will be the beneficiary of a bidding war. This is how business is done when you have something worth buying.

Look, I am not really happy about any of these outcomes, people have lost their jobs, their jobs will be redundant no matter what company gets their assets. I just would like to see a company that would keep the name alive, I know that’s a long shot but its my preference, not that my preference means anything, but I would like it none the less.

Nice pickup and article!!!

I vote with Alan’s sentiments, too. Giants like Seagate and Tosh probably won’t do that, although each will maintain customer appearances with warranties and RMAs.

They are purchasing their IP after OCZ files bankruptcy. This means they will not be providing RMA service. That is the point of filing bankruptcy, and also the point of them not buying the company, just the technology. Simply put, OCZ customers are screwed.

I suspect they are only interested in bidding on the patents, source code and schematics of the controller ocz bought.
