Seagate has launched its external Backup Plus external HDDs with a capacity of up to 5TB. It’s the first 2.5" drive that requires no external power adapter with such a large capacity.

huh…they already make a 2.5 4tb HDD and now they got a 5tb HDD? That isn’t a big leap, if it was a 5tb SSD now that would be different. Here’s a link to the 4tb HDD already on sale. Also it says this:
