Microcenter and frys have various 1TB seagates on sale, a few good online, some instore.
Micro center has a 1TB internal sata 3 for 140$, in store only.
I was in frys in plano Texas yesterday, and they had a 1 TB seagate usb freeagent external (usb) for 140$, and a seagate freeagent pro (usb, firewire, esata) for 160$ in store. They said they were good till next tue.
Frys has various segate 1 GB free agent externals online for 150-160$, some in stock, some out of stock.
I just searched segate external hard drive on their site so the search may have missed a few?
So does anyone know what is inside the freeagents? In the pro ones, its gotta be a sata 3 right? I'm kind of wondering if now is a good time to buy (prices seem to keep dropping).
Had to edit my post, just got a newegg email, seagate internal sata3 1 TB oem for 130$, free shipping.
use promo code EMCAKCFDC for an additional 10$ off (I think you have to be a news letter subscriber to use the promo code, but you can probably subscribe right now and then use it).
