Seagate has finally entered the solid state drive market after months of waiting for the industry to mature. Today the company announced a 200GB SSD aimed at the enterprise.

About time!

I’ve chatted with Seagate before about its plans in the SSD market, and the reps always said it will be just a matter of time before the company plans a wave of products.

Can’t wait to see what happens in 2010 and 2011…

Yep, I’m looking forward to it, but they will be pricey in the beginning.
