Most of them are probably getting their music from newsgroups. You only need a few utilities like a binary downloader, y-enc, and a rar decompressor. Theres more music, movies, pictures, or anything else you want on newsgroups than you can find anywhere.

Doesn’t take a genius to see that if you’re just renting or borrowing music, not owning it and able to use it as you like, a music service that provides tracks like that isn’t really providing anything at all.
