SanDisk Ultra Plus vs Crucial M500

I can get a SanDisk Ultra® Plus SSD - SDSSDHP-256G for about 105 €/144.50 $,which is a real good deal here,as hardware costs usually 10-20 % more than in the USA.
The catch is,this deal is only for 24 hours, after that time,it will be gone.
Is it worth to get this 1 for my laptop?I can also get a Crucial M500 Serie CT240M500SSD1 for 99.90 €/137.60 $,but what’s the better 1?
I’m only interested in price-performance…I know (because I DO read the reviews here :D) that there are quite a lot good SSD’s available, but the price isn’t always right here in my country…:disagree:
For example,a Samsung 840 EVO mSATA MZ-MTE250BW, 250 GB SSD costs 139.90 €/192.5 $…

Boy oh Boy do I wish you lived near my shop, I buy most of those SSDs in bulk and usually have a few leftovers, that I always sell on Ebay, I try to stay current with my stock in house, because the builds that I get orders for always want the latest and greatest. No one is ordering the smaller SSDs, the 120gb and the 240gb are slow sellers so I don’t stock them anymore but the 480gb and 512gb and the 1TB SSDs are selling like hotcakes. They really rake you guys in Europe over the coals when its comes to pricing.:iagree:

Back on topic, both drives are very good, and both of them are from very good manufacturers that have control over the NAND, and also over the firmware, so you should not have any unexpected surprises.

I have only tested the M500 and i can say that it’s a great drive so it’s price, if you can get the 480GB drive go for it, you can never have enough space.

Also look at the warranty, the bigger the better, unless you are planing to change your drive in one or two years.
