When a TV goes larger, it's resolution should always increase, not decrease. a 50" 720 p image might as well be a 480i image. I don't much enjoy being able to see the pixels, and this is one strong reason why I avoided Plasma early on.

My plasma definitely shows pixels more often than my LCD.
