Pls post a few comparison self scans on this new burner and the BenQ too if possible, thx.

btw, RITEK F16 & RITEK F2 are the only other 2 MID with 22x speeds reported by MCSE.

How is this writer compare to the LG GH22 writer? Samsung is using MT-1869L while LG GH22 is using Panasonic MN103SD8GRA. Also is this drive a good reader?

RitekF1 can hold its own at 20x in LiteOn drives quite easily, and I’d hope that F2 would be the same. F16…I’m kind of iffy about. But with good batches, there isn’t much trouble writing them at rated speed.

Thanks Sen and long time no see.

Looks like burns from a LG H55. Any faster than 4:45 and it chokes.

Well 22x is very fast for the usual 16x media, and jitter doesn’t look nice, maybe a transfer rate test would have been nice ;).

How many seconds do you save burning @ 22x compared to 20x or 16x ?

A personal guess would be about 20sec, but still the quality isn’t good for me.

Yeah I don’t trust speed myself.

I burn crappy MBIs @ 16x but, my TYs @ 8x :smiley:

Jitter is a mess, very fast burn, but 18% Jitter @ 22x is very high for me.
