Samsung SH-S203B or Samsung SH-S202J

Doing indepth searching to find the best burner for my needs,
accurate cd-r ripping/reading I finally made a choice and settled
with Samsung.The SH-S203B
looks to be the one but, there is one problem,
I need an IDE compatible one.Would the SH- S202J be a
compatible choice? Also could someone explain exactly what
I would have to do in order to convert to SATA? is it something that could be done easily?

I am so sorry to see that no one ansered this:

  1. Buy a PCI or PCIE SATA adapter card. Newegg has them. Just plug that into an empty slot, & your SATA device will plug into that. You will also need a power adapter to go from the old style to the new style. Those are available everywhere for a dollar or so.

I have been looking at the scans on all the Samsung drives, & they all seem to be doing very well. If you cannot afford an SATA adapter card, then the IDE one looks to be doing a good job too.

Hope this is still of some help, though very late.
