Samsung sh-s182m bitsetting help!

Hi guys! I have been searching for a definitive help for this problem, please guide me step-by-step in bitsetting/booktyping my dvd+r to dvd-rom on my samsung sh-s182m accordingly, my ps2 is a model SCPH-18000 and I know that it won’t read dvd not in the ROM format… I have ImgBurn and Nero Essentials, my firmware is SB05 please, please, oh pretty please help me!

make sure that autochangebooktype is checked in settings/write in imgburn

the rest should be automatic

use verify and look at your log, after the tray cycles then you will see the burned as dvd-rom show up

a lot of other drives have to be set once with the “change booktype button”

make sure you are using the latest imgburn

what shall I look for to ensure that my DVD+R will be in DVD-ROM after burned?

have you burned any dvd+r with a newer version of imgburn yet??

if so put the disk in and use imgburn in read mode

the righthand screen will show the “last recorded”

if not you have to do what I said first

there’s a lot of other factors that can keep a disk from playing, especially in an older ps2

thanks! It already turned into DVD-ROM but it can’t play on my ps2 even on that format… But I can play certain DVD games in a silver tinted base (the one that the lens read) and a gold tinted base… It can also play back up CD games flawlessly… What can be its possible problem?

post an imgburn log of the disk that won’t play

if the burn was fairly recent then imgburn will save the log

backing up games you bought is one thing but games not playing that you downloaded
from a torrent site is another
