Good to see that newer writers still have a good write-strategy for good 8x-media. Dunno whether BD-writers are equal.

My oldest DVD-media, PRINCO, works only with newest Pioneer-DVD-writers, all other drives burn it awful to unreadable with 4x, standard-strategy

It´t the combination.

I have old media which burned unreadable with actual drives. If I burn it with my old Benq the result could be better than with actual MCC-media
